We would like to bring your attention to a new postdoc position which has been advertised: https://usyd.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/USYD_EXTERNAL_CAREER_SITE/details/Postdoctoral-Research-Associate--Pure-and-Applied-Maths-_0126626-2 We are announcing it here because it is somewhat unusual: This position is donor funded, and the position is shared between Sydney and Princeton. The successful candidate will spend 2/3 of their time in Sydney, and 1/3 in Princeton (probably during two visits of 6 months each, however this is flexible). This position is open to suitable candidates in pure and applied mathematics. This is the first time we are running this scheme. An important criteria is that they have a mentor close to their area of expertise in Sydney and in Princeton. Also note that the salary is Level B, and there is no required teaching. Thus, the conditions on paper are very generous for a first postdoc, and still competitive for a second postdoc. Please do not hesitate to contact Geordie Williamson (g.williamson[at]sydney.edu.au) if you have further questions. If you know of a good potential candidate, I am also happy to write to them directly.
