Elements behaving badly in Coxeter groups.

I will look at the effect of conjugating an element of a Coxeter Group W by a reflection. Can we guarantee that if w\in W does not have minimal (respectively maximal) length in its conjugacy class, then there exists a reflection s such that l(sws)< l(w) (respectively l(sws)>l(w))? I will concentrate on finite Coxeter groups, but I will discuss the infinite case if time permits.
